          December 2006 - Diba Thakali (Health Information Management) was           recognized by the EKU Student Government Association (SGA) for her           excellence in work performed on behalf of the SGA and EKU.          

Alumni
          December 2006 - Congratulations to Amanda Laudenschlager (Health           Information Management - August 2006) on becoming a Registered           Health Information Administrator.

          December 2006 - Renee Sears (Health Care Administration -           December 2006) is employed as an office manager at Body Structure           Clinic, an outpatient physical therapy and wellness center, in Lexington.

          December 2006 - Amanda Laudenschlager (Health Information           Management - August 2006) and Heather Dunn (Health Care           Administration - August 2006) are both employed as Clinical Research           Associates at the Markey Cancer Center, which is affiliated with the           University of Kentucky in Lexington.        

          December 2006 - Catherine Carrier (Health Care Administration -           August 2006) is employed as a departmental supervisor in Health           Information Management at Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center           in Somerset, KY.

          December 2006 - Rachel Hay (Health Care Administration - December           2006) has been accepted into the Masters of Public Health program at           Eastern Kentucky University. She plans to begin her coursework Spring           2007.

          October 2006 - Alicia Lane Ferguson (Health Care Administration -           August 2006) is employed as a Financial Analyst for Large Group           Underwriters, a divison of Humana, Inc. in Louisville.
