To promote a comprehensive national Environmental Health recruitment and retention model, emphasizing diversity of the Environmental Health workforce with students, faculty, practitioners, and leaders.

Vision Statement

To provide national leadership in strengthening the environmental health profession, promoting the development of a competent and effective workforce, and fostering and ensuring meaningful diversity efforts.

N-CODE Health was intiated with a genuine interest in the promotion of Environmental Health through the following:

1. Support critical environmental health work in the prevention of disease within diverse communities.
2. Recruit diverse professionals to mentor students in Environmental Health.
3. Promote an increase enrollment in Environmental Health Science Programs in colleges and universities.
4. Support recruitment of diverse students in Environmental Health Programs.
5. Develop and implement national models for recruitment and retention of minorities as part of enrollment in Environmental Health Programs.
6. Support the accreditation of environmental health programs.
7. Intiate Environmental Health Awareness Programs.
8. Build partnerships and colloborate with other Environmental Health organisations.
